Bill Delong Memorial Park in Bowers, PA is home to the Chile Pepper Food Festival, held on the the Friday and Saturday after Labor Day.

The festival runs from 9am to 6pm each day and offers plenty of opportunities to taste, sample and purchase all kinds of chile peppers.

Think you can eat the most chile peppers?  Then participate in the chile pepper eating contest.  You may want to take a shot at the chile salsa eating contest too!

Wagon rides to the Meadowview Farm are provided to see the Chile Pepper Fields.  Music will be provided all day as well.

Free Parking is a available, No Pets, No Alcohol and a Donation for Admission is requested (only $2.00 in 2010)

    I attended this festival for the first time in 2014 and I was amazed. Hot pepper heaven. The largest and best festival I have ever been to no matter what the theme. I have been waiting and talking about it all summer. I can’t wait to get back there again.
