Dedicated to the decorative arts and committed to excellence in craftsmanship, Distelfink Country Christmas is a unique show with an unwavering vision. The perennial theme is country/ primitive so don’t expect anything flashy. Instead, visitors can bank on high quality crafts perfect for accenting a country home, warming a lonely hearth, or winning over that hard-to-buy-for friend. Held annually by the Distelfink Crafters, this juried craft show includes works from members and non-members alike to create a shopping experience par excellence.

At Distelfink Country Christmas over fifty quality vendors are on site displaying tremendous art and craft pieces. Being that the theme is “country and primitive” almost all of the vendors imbue a rustic charm. Hand sewn quilts are sold amongst farmhouse-style furniture as well as soy candles and specialty soaps. However, there are hints of contemporary posh to be found, especially in the form of trendy canine treats and designer chocolates. Being a holiday show there are plenty of holiday themed wares. Quilted and handmade ornaments are for sale as well as felt sewn Christmas trimmings and hand crafted toys.

The hosting Distelfink Crafters is a group of artists dedicated to the decorative arts. What started as a collaboration of stencilers has since grown to include a wide variety of similar craft styles. Everything from redware pottery to handpainted home décor is represented. Furthermore, it is the inclusiveness of the Distelfink Country Christmas which brings merchants and buyers together seamlessly whilst creates an easy going and eclectic buying atmosphere. Visitors are guaranteed to be charmed and delighted by the quaint one-stroke paintings, basket weaving, needle felting, as well as the aforementioned pottery, candles, ornaments, Christmas and Thanksgiving decor, stenciling and decorative painting.

Free Admission.
