State College holds the Annual First Night Festival on December 31 into January 1. This is a wonderful family, Alcohol free, full of fun event! With Hundreds of things to do, you will be busy from sunset to sunrise.
Famous for its Ice Sculptures, the Festival is filled with amazing art pieces and booths to look at. After being out in the cold, head to a local downtown theatre or church for concerts ranging from Bluegrass to Jazz. Go take a carriage ride, or visit Santa’s Reindeer taking a rest after their busy night. Kids can go make arts and crafts at a special area just for them! Feel like exercise? Join in the 5k Walk/Run with over 500 other participants.
This is a wonderful festival for family, friends, and fun. An Entrance fee is required to see indoor concerts. Don’t miss this great event, it only happens once a year!
