Pancakes and Sausage?  With an abundance of maple syrup, this seems one of the most obvious choices!  But there is much more to do at the Pennsylvania Maple Festival.

The Maple Festival, held in Myersdale, in Sommerset County occurs annually in early spring, just the right time to start tapping into the trees.

Special events during the festival include an antique car show, pageant, parade, quilt show and the Maple Queen Contest.

Live musical entertainment is held daily at Festival Park and ranges from folk to bluegrass to country.

Editors Note: We have listed this festival in March AND April since the festival does cover both months sometimes and can possibly be held entirely in one or the other month.
