For all those quilters out there and for all those who are interested in this most cherished of fabric art, the Three Rivers Quilt Show is the event you’ve been waiting for. This annual juried show — sponsored by the Three Rivers Quilters Guild — includes hundreds of entries from tri-state area quilters. Cash prizes and ribbons are awarded. And if you want to be more than just a spectator, then present your quilt for consideration; the Three Rivers Quilt Show is open to the general public and accepts submissions in all categories.
Visitors to the Three Rivers Quilt Show can experience over 130 quilts expertly crafted by local quilters and on display for the show. Through the week there are numerous demonstrations by guild members and special guests, the topics of which represent a wide variety of quilting skills and techniques. In addition to the numerous quilt-related vendors at the show, there is also a quaint flea-market style shop, dubbed Granny’s Attic. There is also a nice-sized snack café. Before leaving, be sure to purchase a special Show DVD of all the quilts on display that year!
Admission cost is nominal and parking is free.
