If you want to attend an annual Pow Wow, the Thunder Mountain Native American Festival is held in the 3rd week of August, in Saltsburg, PA.
There are activities for the whole family including Pony Rides, a Scavenger Hunt, a Tomahawk Throwing Tournament, the Candy Dance and more.
Crafts & Presentations are held in the large tent.
Two circles (areas) on the festival grounds cater to different types of educational events. In one there will be dancing and drumming. The other circle holds presentations of Native American culture and health.
