1914 marked the original Old Home Week, and back then marked the 75th anniversary of Crane Iron Works (a structure which helped to catapult the community and surrounding area to the forefront of the iron industry). The wealth stemming from industrialization in Catasauqua brought great prosperity to the town that was the birthplace of the industrial revolution in America. Ever since then, the annual Old Home Week celebrates the rich history of the town. There will be a host of events throughout Catasauqua for one week. Catasauqua would like to invite Alumni and anyone who ever lived in Catasauqua to return to Catasauqua to visit and share in the festivities.
