Since 1985, the Clarion County Festival of Trees has been a holiday tradition for many. Every year is a new theme and the social hall at the Saint Joseph’s Catholic School is trimmed in corresponding décor. The themes are fantastic and have a wide variety. Past themes have included Log Cabin Christmas and Nutcracker. There are nearly fifty live trees decorated for visitors to enjoy, all creatively designed.
On Friday and Saturday the hall is filled with craft and food vendors and live entertainment. Visitors can buy into fun raffles and chinese auctions. Also, be sure to get some homemade treats from the bake sale, and the Saint Joseph’s “famous cookbook” sale! The Festival of Trees closes early on Sunday and the vendors typically don’t sell. However, there is an amazing breakfast buffet, and of course all the trees!
Festival of Trees is a moderately sized event and entirely wholesome. It is also for a good cause, too. All of the proceeds from the festival admission and raffles support the Saint Joseph Catholic School.
Admission is nominal and parking is free
