Ethnic Food and Music Festival

Website: Ethnic Food and Music Festival
Address: Main St Export PA

Join us for our annual Export Ethnic Food and Music Festival.  A full day of food, music and fun!  We have over 40 food and craft vendors – including Rivertowne Brewing, Penn Brewery, good old fashioned fair food like Kettle corn, funnel cakes, ice cream and many more!

We of course have ethnic fare such as Kielbassi, saurkraut, Pierogies, Italian Sausage, as well as Gyros, and the best homemade hummus you will ever have at the Leena’s food station.

The kids area will have a bounce house, a magic show at 2:00 pm and lots of free and low cost crafts and activities through the day.

There is an antique Motorcycle Club cruise at Joey’s the Edge at 12:00. Come see some great bikes.

True to old fashion carnival venues, the Export Volunteer Fire Department will be selling beer, snacks and playing those old-time games of chance such as chuck-a-luck and beat the dealer.  There is even a dunk tank!

Export celebrated its 100 year birthday in 2011 with a similar event.  It was 3 years in the making and fundraising, but drew such a great response, we knew we had to have another one.  It took us until 2016 to get it together, but after another successful event, we knew we had to go on!

Historical displays will be on view as well as a nod to Export’s coal mining past.  Including our 1934 restored Caboose, that will be open for tours! Come see inside and get your picture taken with the engineer!

This is the type of event you remember from the “Good old Days”.  No hokey stuff-  real old fashioned fun!
