Christmas cookies are for some the most emblematic blazon of Christmas time. It is hard to beat the simple joy of a homemade treat and few events are better suited to give into the intense passion of Christmas cookies then an old fashion cookie walk. For those passionate connoisseurs of the table treats, the Glenshaw Cookie Walk is perfectly suited to assuage even the most serious of cookie craving. Cookie Walk cookies have great variety and make for perfect holiday gifts and party favors. The self serving would agree that they make better on the kitchen table with a glass of cold milk!
The Glenshaw Cookie Walk is indoors and hosted by the Glenshaw Presbyterian Church. The size is moderate but the selection is certainly worth the trip. This festival is very new, but already terribly popular. Cookies are sold by the pound, and they go fast! Festival sponsors to urge visitors to arrive early as the cookies are known for running out. Bring the family to the Glenshaw Cookie Walk and fill up your container with delicious treats.
After you enjoy the cookie spectacle, shop the dozens of craft vendors selling unique, handmade gifts. A Chinese auction nets visitors the chance to score some of those same handmade items and of course more cookies. A bake sale runs in conjunction with the cookie walk, and proceeds of the sale go to support the Presbyterian Church’s Christian school.
