Lititz Fire & Ice is entering its 13th year. Always held Presidents Day weekend in February.
The event will kick off with a big freeze on Friday night at 5pm with live ice carvings and musical entertainment in the square. Broad and Main Street will be closed, and food trucks will be located around the streets for visitors, restaurants will offer specials and retailers will be open late for shoppers. Ice sculptures will set up around Broad and Main Streets and in the front of Lititz Springs Park. The viewing of ice sculptures on Friday night and all weekend is free for the public.
Things heat up Saturday with the annual Chili Cook-off at Warwick High School from 11am to 3pm. This event will also feature a carnival for kids and vendor fair. Tickets are required for the Chili Cook-off and available at Stauffer’s of Kissel Hill (Lititz location only) Dosie Dough, Bomberger’s and Aaron’s Books. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids 12 and under. Food trucks will be set up again Saturday in the BB&T parking lot, entrance off of Broad Street.
Ice will be on display through Monday the 19th for visitors to enjoy.
