On the Saturday of the first weekend in April, make your way to Bethel Park where you can find the Pittsburgh Tartan Day Celebration. It is hosted by the St. Andrew’s Society of Pittsburgh.
Enjoy the day while you listen the skirl of the bagpipes, and the excellent Celtic musicians. Taste the delicious Scottish foods while you watch the Highland Dancers and the Scottish Country Dancers. Take a wee lesson in the Gaelic Speaking Workshop. Try your luck at the Silent Auction Raffle ( benefits the scholarship program for the Scottish Arts). Shop at the vendors on site. Make sure to wear your tartan (plaid)!
OH by the way … this is a FREE event! So bring friends and family and learn about our Scottish Ways.
