Obviously the big pull at the Saint Vincent Festival of Trees are the decorated trees – awe-inspiring and over 100 professionally decorated! There are also dozens and dozens of nativities on display, each representing a variation of the Christmas story as told around the world. Vendors sell holiday gifts all week and choirs and bands enchant the rooms. There is a great raffle as well with a big grand prize and many other great prizes. This week long event is jam-packed and seems to be growing bigger every year
For the kids, there is plenty to do and see. Most of all is Santa’s Palace, a miniature haven of fun. Escorted by elves, children can meet Santa and Mrs. Claus and see a live reindeer. Follow the elves to a kids store where kids can buy gifts for their friends or parents. Don’t forget to sign up for breakfast with Santa on Saturday.
Held in the beautiful and elegant ballrooms at the Bayfront Convention Center, Festival of Trees certainly feels majestic. But the real regality lies in the benefit of Festival of Trees. All of the proceeds go to a charity of Saint Vincent’s choosing. Festival of Trees is certain to get anyone into the Christmas spirit. So enjoy this seasonal favorite and the decked out yuletide spirit, knowing you’re directly helping others in need.
OMG!! My friend and I attend religiously every year! Really puts us in the Christmas spirit! Wonderful location and awesome entertainment too by Brett Fallon!! Thanks for offering us this opportunity yearly!!
We arrived about 10:30 am and line was out the door. When we reached the ticket counter sign read cash only. Atm machine just before ticket counter. This explains the line. Very disgusted I could not use credit card as I had last year. Lady selling tickets stated it was only cash last year also. I informed her no that I had used my credit card. It would have been better if people had been informed prior by advertisiing it was cash only this year.
Go every year and very nice
