An eclectic music festival at a Dam cool venue…

The Dam Show at Austin is an annual music festival that brings live music and its fans to a remote part of Northcentral Pennsylvania. The show is held at the Austin Dam Park, where the remains of a giant concrete Dam that failed over a century ago still stand. The Dam remains and surrounding mountains create a natural amphitheater and a Dam cool experience. At dark, the Dam lights up with multimedia projection lighting by Groovin’ Lumens. It’s a sight you won’t see anywhere but the Dam Park at Austin.

The Dam Show has hosted some Dam good bands over the years, including the Carolina Chocolate Drops, Gordon Stone, Ryan Montbleau, the Buddhahood, MiZ, Flux Capacitor, AudioInFlux, Redheaded Stepchild, The Slant, Free Grass Union, the Hackensaw Boys, Michael Cleveland, Chester River Runoff and Willie Jack & the Northern Light.

  1. I attended a few years back, and it was a hoot. Great friendly local people, awesome bands..across many types of music. Camping is available and it allows you to meet other music lovers.
Hope to attend again this year.
