Union City celebrates its rich heritage as a gathering place between land and water routes with their annual French Creek Festival.
Held on the second weekend of July, the festival caps off the first (Friday) night with Fireworks! But that is not nearly the end of this festival.
This family friendly festival is home to food and craft vendors, live entertainment and historical exhibits, including a living history. Don’t think you are just going to browse around – the vendors will be demonstrating their crafts and the living history will move right around you!
Kids won’t be disappointed because they have their own part of the festival where they can get ‘hands on’ with crafts, old fashioned games, a scavenger hunt, and new for 2010 – a Pinewood Derby!
Parking and Admission are Free. Please check the website for the full schedule of events, directions and more.
