The Details:

The Daniel Boone Homestead Associates are excited to celebrate the arrival of fall with their annual Heritage Day event. This festival features a variety of colonial and early American demonstrations, trades, and hands-on activities for visitors. Highlights include blacksmithing, gunsmithing, candle dipping, quill pen writing, leatherworking, open hearth cooking, spinning, and an eighteenth-century fashion display. Stone House History will return with tape weaving and wood carving demonstrations. The event also offers artisan craft and specialty food vendors, along with fall activities for children like pumpkin painting. Additionally, the Boone House and the Bertolet Log House will be open for tours.
