The Details:
Fort Ligonier Days is Westmoreland County's premier fall festival, drawing tens of thousands of visitors annually to the picturesque town of Ligonier in the Laurel Highlands. The three-day event commemorates a key battle of the French & Indian War, which occurred on October 12, 1758. Attendees can enjoy historic battle reenactments, a grand parade, a 5K walk/run, and popular musical entertainment. The festival also features top-rated juried crafts, delicious foods, and local spirits. Activities are spread across the beautiful Ligonier Diamond, throughout the historic town, and at the authentically reconstructed Fort Ligonier and its world-class museum, all set against a backdrop of spectacular fall foliage. This event provides a true sense of community spirit for all who visit.
