The Details:

The Coal Festival is a cherished hometown tradition celebrating Blossburg's rich mining history, community spirit, music, and food. Visitors can enjoy a wide selection of food and craft vendors, along with student group fundraisers. The event offers family fun and games, including inflatables, and features an annual Car Show with entries from classic to modern. Attendees can also experience live events and music on the main stage and a community parade to kick off Saturday. The festival commemorates the discovery of coal in the Blossburg area in 1792 and honors the heritage of the many towns created due to mining. The celebration concludes with fireworks viewable throughout Blossburg.
