The annual Home + Garden Festival transforms historic Germantown Avenue in Chestnut Hill into a vibrant marketplace, featuring over 300 vendors. This beloved community event spans six blocks and attracts thousands of visitors each year, showcasing everything from garden décor and heirloom plants to handcrafted furniture and artisan goods. Attendees can stroll along the tree-lined avenue, discover local artisans, and enjoy live music and diverse culinary delights from numerous food vendors throughout the day. The festival also includes a 'Makers Village' where talented artisans provide live demonstrations of their crafts. A wide variety of food and beverages are available, ranging from breakfast treats and craft beer to international cuisine and local favorites. Entertainment is also provided at the entertainment stage located at Bethlehem Pike and Germantown Avenue.
