The Details:

The South 9th Street Festival, one of Philadelphia’s most popular events, attracts visitors from all over the city and beyond. For seven city blocks, the 2026 Festival will be a vibrant celebration of culture, gastronomy, art, and music. Over 100 area vendors will showcase a range of cuisine and beverages, allowing visitors to sample and purchase culinary delights. Beyond food, the festival also features live music, services, souvenirs, jewelry, artists, and crafters, making it a true extravaganza for the senses. It is a one-of-a-kind family-friendly celebration held rain or shine in the open air, hosted by the merchants of Philadelphia’s S. 9th Street Italian Market, the nation’s oldest outdoor market. Attendees can enjoy fun contests like the Grease Pole Climb and the Procession of Saints, along with the Halfball Tournament.
