Parking Information
Free parking and free shuttles are available. Shuttles pick up at all three mansions, with additional parking at Mt. Pleasant Mansion (3800 Mt Pleasant Drive) where the shuttle loop begins. Limited onsite parking is available at Ormiston and Woodford Mansion. Public transportation (Bus Routes 7, 32, 39, 49, 54 to 33rd & Dauphin) can reach Woodford Mansion, where shuttles are accessible. Handicap parking is available at all three houses, but be aware of natural terrain and preservation rules that may make navigation difficult.

The Details:

This Heritage Festival celebrates the 250th Anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence. It takes place across Laurel Hill, Ormiston, and Woodford Mansions, featuring reenactments, tours, and activities that reveal untold stories of 18th-century Philadelphia during the Revolutionary period. The event includes historic reenactors, live music, lawn games, colonial crafts, family-friendly activities, English Country Morris Dancers, baby goats, and skilled demonstrations of trades needed for life in 1776. Visitors are also welcome to attend in Colonial Costumes.
