The 12th Annual Edwardsville Pierogi Festival is a two-day event, organized by the Edwardsville Hometown Committee, a 501c3 formed in 2013. This committee's goal is to improve the quality of life for Edwardsville borough citizens by sponsoring family-friendly events throughout the year. The festival, which began in June 2014, moved to John Hopkins Park Edwardsville in 2017. Attendees can enjoy food and non-food vendors, rides, games, and live entertainment. Key highlights of the event include a Pierogi Cookoff and a Pierogi Parade. The Edwardsville Hometown Committee also sponsors other annual community events.
