The ODUNDE Festival is proudly recognized as the largest African American street festival in North America. It is a cherished Philadelphia tradition that has been celebrating African American culture since 1975. The festival's mission is to honor African American culture through a vibrant festival, community engagement, and sports initiatives. The event spans a full week of diverse activities, culminating in a major festival day on Sunday. ODUNDE also offers year-round cultural programming through "ODUNDE 365" and promotes education through sports via "ODUNDE Sports." Artists are encouraged to submit their work for the annual ODUNDE Art Sho exhibition.
