The Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts, celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2026, is recognized as one of the top-ranked juried art fairs in the country. It serves as a significant highlight of the State College summer and a major gathering for Penn State alumni outside of football season. Annually attracting over 125,000 visitors and hundreds of volunteers, the festival also acts as an economic anchor for downtown State College businesses. The event offers a wide array of activities including a Sidewalk Sale and Exhibition featuring independent artists from across the country.
