Attendees can enjoy a variety of mushroom-centric foods, learn about mushroom growing, and explore numerous craft vendors, boutiques, and restaurants in Kennett Square. This nationally recognized two-day event attracts thousands of visitors and has grown into one of Pennsylvania's largest and most prestigious festivals. Beyond the event, the festival supports its community through a Grants Program, awarding over $1.1 million to local non-profits and funding mushroom health research. The 2026 festival, themed "Harvesting 40 Years Together!", highlights its dedication to nurturing the delicious fungi and supporting the community's future. At its core, the festival serves as an opportunity for Kennett Square mushroom farms and businesses to give back to and highlight their contributions to the town.
