The Details:
The annual Pirate Festival in Marcus Hook is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 11 AM to 6 PM. The festival features a full pirate encampment with period tents, demonstrations of wares, firearms, cannons, and beer making. In the park area, attendees can enjoy games, food, live pirate music, face painting, pony rides, a petting zoo, crafters, and a beer garden. All proceeds from this event are dedicated to the ongoing restoration project of the historic Plank House, also known as Blackbeard's Mistress's House. The Marcus Hook Preservation Society owns and maintains this unique, hand-sawn plank log house, aiming to restore it to museum quality.
