The 5th Annual High Country Jazz Festival is scheduled to take place from June 10-14, 2026, in Boone and Blowing Rock, North Carolina. This event is a collaborative effort between the Appalachian Theatre, Boone Sunrise Rotary, and Appalachian State University’s Jazz Studies program. The festival will feature a lineup of esteemed jazz artists, including Grammy-winning saxophonist Miguel Zenón, acclaimed Venezuelan pianist Luis Perdomo, the legendary jazz fusion band Spyro Gyra, renowned trombonist Wycliffe Gordon, and leading jazz pianist Emmet Cohen. Most performances are hosted at the Appalachian Theatre of the High Country. Festival packages for three shows (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) are available at $85 for regular admission and $100 for premium tickets, offering a diverse jazz experience.
