The Details:
The 21st Annual Oktoberfest celebrates Pennsylvania's love of craft and German beer, taking place rain or shine. The event features German imported beers such as Kostritzer Schwarzbier, Paulaner Oktoberfest, and Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfest, as well as craft beer from Rusty Rail Oktoberfest and local wines from Shade Mountain Wine & Union Cellars Wine. Festivities begin with the annual firkin tapping by the Mayor on Friday at 1 p.m. Attendees can enjoy fun games on Saturday, including keg tossing and mug lifting, along with a wide selection of German and American food. Live entertainment is scheduled for both days, with John Steven's Doubleshot performing Friday evening, and The Little German Band and Schützengiggles Oompah Band on Saturday. Designated drivers receive free birch beer, while kids can purchase it for $5.
