The 2026 Chester County Balloon Festival offers fun for the entire family over Father's Day weekend, June 19th-21st, at the new Ludwig's Corner Horse Show Grounds in Chester Springs. Attendees can witness hot air balloons flying between 6am-8am and 5pm-7pm, with tethered balloon rides available for purchase on-site for $25. This rain-or-shine event ensures plenty of activities and sights even if balloon flights are weather-dependent, including a Kids Zone and other attractions throughout the day. Free parking is provided, though handicap parking is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. Visitors are encouraged to bring beach chairs and blankets, but outside food, drinks, coolers, tents, and large umbrellas are prohibited for security reasons. The festival does not have ATMs, so guests should plan accordingly.
