Parking will be available at several lots throughout the town, along with a shuttle which will be operated continuously from the Wellsboro High School parking lot and the Wellsboro Plaza lot on Route 6.

The 42nd annual Dickens of a Christmas Celebration transforms Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, into an early Victorian marketplace on Saturday, December 5th, 2026. Main Street and surrounding areas are closed to traffic, bustling with costumed food and craft vendors, strolling musicians, singers, dancers, and street corner performers starting at 9:00 a.m. Attendees can enjoy performances by local choruses, tidbits of drama, and a production of "A Christmas Carol" at local theaters. Numerous local churches host luncheons and special services, complementing the array of over 125 unique craft and food vendors. The day culminates with a Peace Walk from Packer Park at 5:00 p.m., leading to the annual community Christmas tree lighting and carol sing at 5:30 p.m. Parking is available at various town lots, with a continuous shuttle service provided from Wellsboro High School and Wellsboro Plaza.
