Parking Information
Additional parking is available nearby at HACC. Visitors should follow signs to the designated parking area and can walk the Capital Area Greenbelt trail (0.7 mile walk) to the festival. A shuttle service will be offered throughout the day between HACC lot #4 and the Nature Center, with pickups at HACC every 30 minutes starting at 10:15 am (last shuttle 3:45 pm) and at the Nature Center every 30 minutes starting at 10:30 am (last shuttle 4:00 pm).

The 26th Annual Wetlands Festival offers a day of free, fun, and educational activities at Wildwood Park. Visitors can enjoy wildlife exhibits, participate in guided walks, and interact with live animals from Forgotten Friend Reptile Sanctuary. The event also features special musical guests, food trucks, and a wide variety of local and regional environmental organizations. This rain-or-shine festival provides something for everyone, including crafts to take home.
