Parking Information
Downtown – Street parking is free after 5pm on Saturday in the designated Downtown area and free all day on Sunday. A discounted $10 rate from 10am-10pm is available at the Market Square Garage courtesy of Park Harrisburg on March 7. The Walnut Street and Chestnut Street garages will also be available (standard rates apply). City Island – Free parking is available. Midtown – Free parking at the Greenworks Development parking lots #2 and #4 at Reily and Logan St. Free 2 hour parking in the parking lots at Fulton and Verbeke St. Metered street parking is available. Italian Lake – Street parking is available. Reservoir Park – Free parking in the parking lot off of Reservoir Dr. Shipoke – Metered street parking available.

The Details:

The Ice & Fire Festival is a free event hosted by the City of Harrisburg on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 11 AM to 7 PM. It features over 60 ice sculptures, an ice slide, fire dancers, and live ice carving demonstrations. Attendees can also enjoy cozy fire pits with s'mores, an artist market, performances by local groups, kids' activities, food trucks, and various vendors. Sculptures will be displayed along North 2nd Street, City Island, Midtown, Italian Lake, Shipoke, and Reservoir Park, illuminating at 5 PM. The festival also includes a cocktail, coffee, and cocoa crawl with themed drink specials. Free ice skating with skate rentals is available on 2nd Street in front of City Hall.
