The Details:

The Rhubarb Festival is a two-day food festival celebrating rhubarb, a tradition in Lancaster County for over 40 years. The village comes alive with the sweet aroma of rhubarb jam and offers a variety of delicious, sometimes zany, events. Activities include the world’s only rhubarb race-car derby, live music, entertainers, and a tribute to the Rhubarb King & Queen. Visitors can enjoy an array of homemade rhubarb foods, such as dips, sauces, pies, and delectable drinks. The Annual Rhubarb Baking Contest, with proceeds benefiting the Lancaster Farmland Trust, offers prizes for various rhubarb dessert categories.
