FREE Parking. Unmetered curbside street parking is available in the neighborhoods around the site. Grace Chapel on the corner of Eagle and Darby Road will permit limited free parking. Parking in the metered municipal lot on Darby Road is free after 6 pm. Free lots are also available a few blocks from the site at St. Denis Church and Haverford Middle School. Uber and Lyft rideshare services are suggested to minimize long walks to the event.
The Details:
The 8th Annual Havertown Irish Festival celebrates over 250 years of Irish influence on America. This free admission event features live music and dancers across two outdoor stages with more than 20 performers. Attendees can also enjoy a Crafter Village showcasing over 50 handmade crafters and artisans, a Beer Garden, food vendors, and a Kid's Fun Zone. The festival takes place at 50 E. Eagle Road in Havertown, PA, and serves as the primary fundraiser for the Kelly Center for Music, Arts and Community. For safety and comfort, outside alcohol, pets, bicycles, skateboards, skates, scooters, and pull-behind carts/wagons are not permitted, although baby strollers are allowed. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own chairs for seating, and tax-deductible donations are welcome to support this community event.
