The Details:
The Central PA 4th Fest for 2026 will be a more intimate celebration, primarily centered at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. Festivities at the main venue are scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM on July 4th. The day's events will include the annual Firecracker 4K run/walk, which kicks off on the Penn State main campus near the Bryce Jordan Center. Furthermore, a parade will be separately coordinated and hosted by Freedom Rising USA. This shift in format is a strategic response to reduced funding and volunteer availability, aiming to ensure a meaningful and high-quality experience in a focused location. The organizers express hope that this year marks a new chapter, allowing for rebuilding and re-engagement to come back even stronger in future years. Ticket sales for the 2026 event will commence on April 1, 2026.
