The 12th Annual Edwardsville Pierogi Festival, organized by the Edwardsville Hometown Committee, is a two-day family-friendly event. It features a wide array of attractions including food and non-food vendors, rides, games, and live entertainment. Highlights of the festival include a Pierogi Cookoff and a festive Pierogi Parade. The event began in June 2014 and has been held at John Hopkins Park in Edwardsville since 2017. The Edwardsville Hometown Committee, a 501c3 organization formed in 2013, aims to improve the quality of life for Edwardsville citizens by sponsoring various community events throughout the year.
