The EQT Washington & Greene Counties' Covered Bridge Festival is an annual celebration held the third weekend in September, showcasing Pennsylvania's historic covered bridges across Washington and Greene Counties. Each festival location offers a charming atmosphere with a variety of activities including handmade arts and crafts, homestyle foods, historical re-enactments, and crafting demonstrations. Live entertainment is also a highlight, contributing to the festival's reputation as a signature event and the official start to the fall season. The festival runs from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily, rain or shine. Admission and parking are free at all sites. Pet policies vary by location, but pets are not permitted at some major sites like Ebenezer, Henry, Pine Bank, and White.
