Presence is not required to win Live Entertainment This festival celebrates the richness and beauty of Romanian culture, offering an authentic experience that combines traditional dances, folk music, specific culinary art, and Romanian craftsmanship. We are honored to present you with an exceptional show, with exceptional guests, who will bring the essence of the Romanian spirit on stage: The Romanian Rhapsody Orchestra from Montreal, under the direction of Maestro Nicolae Mrgineanu, is a true musical incursion into the heart of Romanian traditions. You will listen to emotional chords played by: Maestro Nicolae Mrgineanu accordion and tambal Marcel Roscovan and Leonard Hotea violins Clin Apian organ Radu Covaciu clarinet Darius Vintil saxophone Tamara Vintil flute Paul Goldheart, the Panpipe Master, will add extra refinement and emotion to the show through his distinct and deeply Romanian sound. Vocal soloists: George Clin, Aurelia Micu, Lorena Apian, Radu Covaciu, Corina Maria Zosim, Maria Moldovan, Alexandra Covaciu, Breanna Corjuc, and Anamaria Popa talented performers who will give voice to the soul songs of our nation. The HORA Montreal Folk Dance Ensemble, coordinated by Mr. Florin Sljan, consists of 24 passionate dancers. They will bring to the stage authentic rhythms, spectacular traditional costumes, and choreographic moments that capture the diversity of Romanian folklore. DJ Adrian Cune New York and DJ Alex Pennsylvania will turn the evening into a real party, offering an energetic mix of music and good cheer, ideal for dancing and fun. Presenters: Lara David Semenescu the hosts of the evening, who will guide the audience with warmth and professionalism through the entire event. And many other surprises Food and Drinks Traditional Romanian food: We invite you to enjoy the authentic tastes of Romanian cuisine At the festival, you will be able to enjoy a delicious selection of traditional dishes, prepared with care and passion: Cabbage rolls in cabbage leaves, served with sour cream and hot peppers Mititei with mustard Chicken or Pork kebab with French fries Sausages with beans. A variety of homemade cakes for all tastes: Dobos, Diplomat, Savarina, Amandina, Kurtos Kolacs, Cheese pastries, and many other delights. Beyond the moments of celebration, this years edition of the festival, as always, supports a noble cause: raising funds for a scholarship. Once again, the Romanian Community Center offers a scholarship designed to support a student in their educational journey, thus contributing to the training of a new generation of professionals. We are excited to announce our 2nd annual RCC College Scholarship The scholarship application process is open to students who meet the following eligibility requirements: They have a parent who is an active RCC member They are currently enrolled in an accredited college or university Register using the form belowcoming soon Write an essay without using ChatGPT or other AI, containing around 500 words This years essay theme: In what ways would you contribute to preserving and advancing the mission of RCC? How would you help future generationsincluding your own childrenunderstand what it means to be Romanian, connect with our cultural roots, and appreciate the lasting value of our heritage and traditions? This scholarship aims to support and encourage young members of our community in their academic pursuits, fostering a sense of community involvement and leadership among our youth.
