The Mount Gretna International Film Festival (MTGIFF) celebrates storytelling through independent short films submitted from around the world. Set in the artistic community of Mount Gretna, PA, the festival takes place during the same weekend as the beloved Mount Gretna Art Show, offering visitors a unique combined cultural experience. The festival honors the lives of Michael Evan Deitzler and Steve Kreamer, whose love for the arts continues to inspire the community. The 2026 season will kick off with a 'Short & Sweet' event on February 28th, hosted at Englewood Hershey, featuring a curated selection of impactful short films. MTGIFF is a 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization, approved effective June 2, 2025, and is actively seeking 2026 sponsorships and donations. The event aims to cultivate and spread the creativity of filmmakers by celebrating film "Under the Trees of Old Chautauqua."
