The annual Sunflower Festival is a two-day event held on a 200-acre farm in Carlisle, PA, celebrating the fall sunflower season. Attendees can pick as many sunflowers as they like for free, but should bring their own clippers and vases; these are also available for purchase. The festival offers a wide array of activities including food trucks, an "Oops! Sale" featuring discounted handcrafted gourds, and numerous artisan craft vendors. Other attractions include trolley rides for $5, a petting zoo with cow cuddling, a pumpkin patch, face painting, and live music. Beer, wine, and spirits will be available from local companies, and the 7,000 sq ft gift shop will be open. Admission and parking for the event are completely free, but pets are not permitted due to large crowds and farm animals.
